Virgin coconut shell carbon is most common for paint booth VOCs. Impregnated carbons may be needed for specific compounds. Match the carbon type to your coating chemistry.
If your system has refillable beds, yes — and it's often more economical. We supply bulk granular carbon in 50lb bags. Panel-style filters are typically replaced whole.
