Clean incoming air. Protect your finishes. Eliminate contaminants.
Intake filters clean the air entering your paint booth before it reaches the spray zone. Whether ceiling-mounted diffusion media or pleated panels in your air makeup unit (AMU), properly maintained intake filters prevent dust, dirt, and debris from contaminating your finish work. We supply filters for all major booth configurations including downdraft, crossdraft, and side-draft systems.
Intake filter type depends on your booth design. Send us photos of your current filters and booth ceiling — we'll identify the exact replacement or recommend an upgrade.
Generally no — intake filters load more slowly since they're filtering ambient air rather than paint-laden exhaust. Monthly inspection is typical, with replacement every 1-3 months.
Ceiling blankets (diffusion media) create uniform airflow across the spray zone. Pleated filters in AMUs have higher efficiency and capture finer particles before conditioned air enters the booth.
