Waterborne vs Solvent

Waterborne paints require different booth conditions. Humidity and airflow for flash-off are critical for proper application and cure.

Booth Requirements

Key requirements include humidity monitoring, adequate airflow for flash-off, proper temperature control, and sometimes dedicated dehumidification.

Monitor Humidity

Relative humidity above 80% makes waterborne application difficult. Below 50% can cause rapid dry issues.

Waterborne Paint Booth Requirements FAQ

Many booths need only airflow adjustment. Some may need humidity control equipment.
